Kantar has appointed Nitin Nishandar as CEO of of Vietnam, where he will partner MD of Kantar Millward Brown Vietnam, Phil Worthington, and MD of Kantar TNS, Ashish Kanchan, to support the continued strength and development of the teams in the country. Nishandar takes over from Jon Foged who became Kantar Australia CEO last month. Additionally, Nishandar has been named Chief Commercial Officer for the AsiaPac Insights division.
In his new role, Nishandar will spearhead the strategy and execution on key accounts, as well as new business development. This is to ensure collaboration across Kantar and the strong delivery of insights that help clients make effective decisions.
Nishandar has worked for the WPP group for 23 years, most recently combining the roles of Regional MD, Brand and Shopper, APAC for Kantar TNS, and Head of Brand & Communication, Asia Pacific. Before this, he led the entire Client Service division for Singapore-based local, regional and global accounts, and he was Director – Client Service for Hong Kong and Singapore. Earlier, he worked for Kantar Millward Brown, managing country operations for Taiwan, and he was a Project Director at IMRB.
