Essence is expanding their data and measurement-driven offering in China to help companies transform their approach to marketing with cutting-edge consulting, strategy, creative, media planning, and media activation services.
The expansion will be led by Benjamin Wei, who joins Essence as Managing Director, China and will oversee new Essence offices in Beijing and Shanghai. Wei joins Essence after spending nearly a decade at GroupM in China where he established GroupM’s first centralized mobile business unit, its digital media innovation and thought leadership hub mLab, and – most recently – led the relaunch of GroupM China’s mobile unit to provide integrated mobile services and solutions to businesses.
